Thanks for checking me out! Er, not "checking me out," but checking out my website and... I think you know what I mean. Ugh, nevermind, on to the good stuff!
I believe in providing value to all my clients through the creative and technical design process. I strive to develop a close working relationship with every client so I may meet their needs in a timely and professional manner, as well as understand my clients' business so I may assure their strategic goals and objectives are achieved.
My goal is to be a significant contributor to the success of every business I work with while maintaining a positive attitude and an excellent sense of humor.
Hiring a professional freelance graphic designer to create and manage your marketing materials can enhance your business image and help you obtain higher quality customers... all while saving you money over hiring an in-house designer. As a paid contractor you'll only hire me for the work you need, when you need it, and it's all a tax deduction for your business.

Aside from being a graphic designer, I enjoy writing articles and blogging about various graphic design topics. My work, including written and creative, is featured on a variety of websites and has been posted as inspiration for other graphic artists across the world. I currently reside in Eagle, Idaho (a suburb of Boise) with my husband, two children, two dogs, two chickens, two parakeets and a goldfish. I'm an avid fan of mystery and dystopian novels, will travel far and wide for a good cup of coffee and received an "Accomplished Under 40" award from the Idaho Business Review in 2014 (age 36). That was pretty cool, and I'm still humbled by such an honor.
Elle is one of my favorite go-to-designers. I have worked with Elle on various logo and website projects and she consistently brings creativity and professionalism to the job. Very creative, quick, on time, on budget and customer focused. Whether or not she is working directly with the client or through a project manager, Elle's first priority is to ensure the client needs are met and they are satisfied with the job. A true professional and wonderful person to work with - I highly recommend Elle Phillips Design.
We have struggled for years with both in-house and outside contractors to get the projects done right and finished on time. We have been working with Elle for over a year and she has performed for us beyond our expectations and we feel very lucky to have found her. Not only is she a brilliant designer but she is conscientious, ethical, responsive, dependable, efficient and most of all cost effective. What more could we ask for?
I've worked with Elle for more than a decade on dozens of graphic arts and design projects. She has consistently provided amazing results, very creative, effective design, all delivered on time and in budget. I strongly recommend Elle to anyone who is looking for something extra and special in your graphic design or web design. You'll be hard pressed to find better value, consistency, and timeliness than with Elle. She has my highest endorsement. Contact me anytime with questions.
A professionally designed logo is often the branding cornerstone of any business. It's deeply personal, creative, eye-catching, and will be the start of the entire look and feel of your company. I LOVE the challenge of designing a logo for a new business, or refreshing the design for an existing one.
Contact me if your business needs a new identity... I'll even throw a branding guide in for free.
Face it, if your business doesn't have a website, or it's been more than a few years since its last update, then chances are you need someone who can take care of that for you. Finding a freelancer who can both design AND code well is rare indeed... which is why I'm very happy to be able to offer both services.
All of my websites are built with mobile-responsiveness and SEO integration. I can do Wordpress, but prefer the freedom of straight-up HTML/CSS.
If it can be printed or put online, I can design it! And if by chance you do ask for something I haven't done before, I'm ALWAYS willing to learn something new.
Catalogs, tradeshow booths, e-newsletters, annual reports, product packaging... well, see the list below to get a better idea. But pretty much, I can do it all.
So you want a catalog or website design, but don't have any photos of your products? No problem!
I happen to have an in-house photo studio, including a 360° turntable that allows me to take full rotating images of your products if desired. I'll then clean up your images and supply them to you for use in publications or any other needs you may have.
I may be a little goofy and express my humor at times, but customer service is no joke to me. Making my clients feel comfortable and providing exceptional services to them is #1 in my book. It's what's kept most of my existing clients around for nearly ten years, and keeps new ones contacting me on a regular basis. I love what I do, and I love the people I work for.
I keep time sheets for all projects or jobs. Once completed, or as otherwise agreed between us, I will email your invoice to you with payment due within in 30 days. Payment by check or money order is preferred, however if you wish to pay by credit card I will be happy to send your invoice via PayPal. Once payment has been received all rights to the completed project design and/or photography becomes yours, unless otherwise specified.
PLEASE NOTE: In my designs I do not use images or designs that you do not own the rights to. If stock photography needs to be purchased in order to complete a graphic design project, please contact me for details. I always strive to maintain the highest ethical standards and will not knowingly infringe on anyone's copyright.
By retaining my services for the scope of work agreed upon, you acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions unless otherwise specified in writing. Should you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask me! It is always my goal to meet the specific graphic design, web design and photography needs of my clients. Biscotti, anyone?
